What have I received as a member of the
Society of the Sacred Heart?
This sense of identification with the expression of the charism in the Constitutions has helped me to feel at home in the Society and to recognise that the mission of the Society to make known the love in the heart of Jesus is my/our mission. That is who I am, that is what I want to live........
 I have somewhere to go with the anguish and pain of humanity, i.e. into the heart of Jesus. “Caught up as we are in the desires of His heart, we want people to grow in dignity, as human beings and as children of God....” (Para. 7) |
